Prashant Jain

Prashant Jain is an accomplished product management professional with extensive experience in cloud security, observability, and AI-based technologies. Currently serving as a Product Manager at Confluent, Prashant focuses on AI-driven Security and Observability products. As a Startup Advisor for Newchip Accelerator, Prashant provides expertise for Seed to Series-C companies. Previous roles include product management at Datadog, where Prashant was a founding member of the Opentelemetry product platform and contributed to the Application Performance Monitoring product. As Cofounder and CEO of OneNexus, initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace relationships and innovation were spearheaded. Prashant’s career includes consulting positions with EY Foundry and Amazon, along with significant academic achievements in computing and information sciences from Cornell University.
