Barry O'Brien

Barry O'Brien is a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Sports Science Consultant at Connacht Rugby, where employment began in June 2016. O'Brien previously held the position of Production at Medtronic from October 2013 to August 2016 and served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Athenry Hurling at St. Mary's Athenry GAA Club between January 2015 and September 2015. Barry O'Brien earned a Master of Science in Sports Performance from the University of Limerick in 2017, following a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with Maths from the same institution in 2013. Educational foundations were laid at Presentation College Athenry and Carnaun National School.
