Mike Almond

Mike Almond is an experienced Information Security professional currently serving as the Group Head of Information Security at Connells Group since October 2021. Prior to this role, Mike held various positions at Countrywide Plc from January 2011 to November 2021, including Head of IT Security and Compliance, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing information security for a workforce of 12,000 employees, ensuring compliance with EU GDPR, and managing security architectures and policies. Mike's career also includes significant roles at Ericsson and Marconi, focusing on project and software development management, as well as integration testing and engineering. Mike holds a postgraduate diploma in computing and commerce industry from Bournemouth University and has a diverse background in telecommunications hardware and software engineering.
