Stefen Fangmeier

Stefen Fangmeier is an experienced visual effects supervisor with a career spanning over three decades. Currently self-employed and taking a year off since September 2023, Fangmeier previously worked at Netflix as a Visual Effects Supervisor on the Sci-Fi series "The Three Body Problem" from May 2021 until September 2023. Notably, Fangmeier served as VFX Supervisor during the final season of "Game of Thrones" from August 2017 to April 2019. Prior roles include overseeing visual effects for "Allegiant Part 1" from February 2015 to February 2016 and contributing as a VFX Supervisor to "Sin City 2" at Prime Focus World between 2013 and 2014. Experience also includes a long tenure as a Visual Effects Supervisor/Director at SELF from November 1990 to July 2017, concluding with work on "Allegiant Part I" and engaging in travel and relaxation thereafter.
