Usman Saleem

Usman Saleem is an experienced software development professional with a focus on Java and blockchain technologies. Currently serving as a Blockchain Protocol Engineer at ConsenSys since May 2019, Usman is involved in projects related to Ethereum consensus and execution clients. Previous roles include Senior Java Developer at Flight Centre Travel Group, where Usman enhanced and migrated a legacy booking engine, and Senior Software Developer at Fedelta Point of Sale, contributing to the development of Java-based POS software. Usman has also held positions at ABB as a Software Engineer-III, Red Hat as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, OpenSCG as a Software Architect, and EnterpriseDB as an Architect, overseeing various software projects and utilizing open source technologies. Usman completed an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University and has a strong technical foundation from education in commerce and computer-related fields.
