Gabriela is in charge of designing and directing the execution of the Artisanal Mining Challenge key event, as well as other in-person and digital events and initiatives to support the program's goals and objectives.
Gabriela is an Industrial Engineer, specialized in Process Improvement from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences; she has an International Diploma in Leadership and Business from Lehigh University; and she also has specializations in Marketing, Innovation and Agile Methodologies.
She has more than 6 years of experience leading projects in various private sector industries such as Banking, Education, Entertainment and Communications. She has also been a mentor for startups and entrepreneurs, and has led various projects and initiatives of Social Innovation for organizations such as Startup UPC, Global Shapers Uruguay and Data Science Research Peru.
She is passionate about design and innovation, through which she found an excellent way to find solutions to all kinds of problems, even the great social gaps that persist for centuries. This is where she wants to make a mark and contribute to the world.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, photography, and outdoor sports.
