Gareth Fotouhi, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and nanotechnology. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Conservation X Labs since February 2019, Gareth is focused on developing technologies to address the extinction crisis through innovative designs and molecular analysis. Prior roles include Research and Development Engineer at Core Biosystems, where achievements included leading the design of a custom centrifuge and patenting a surface functionalization method, and Mechanical Engineer at NanoFacture, where Gareth enhanced DNA processing device efficiency and recovery yield.
