Gustavo Arroyo

Gustavo Arroyo is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and quality management with extensive experience in the railway and elevation sectors. Currently serving as the National EHS Manager at CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) since July 2018, Gustavo oversees health and safety for train maintenance depots while managing various clients including Metro Madrid and RENFE. Previously, Gustavo held the position of HSEQ Systems Manager at Orona, focusing on the design and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems based on OSHAS 18001. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Manager and Facilities Manager with Grupo EULEN, where Gustavo was involved in planning and executing facility projects. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Health and Safety and a degree in Materials Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, as well as a Bachelor's in Chemical Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Additionally, Gustavo obtained the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, underscoring a strong commitment to safety standards in various industries.
