Ashley Z.

Ashley Z. is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in enforcement and financial economics. Currently serving as an Enforcement Economist at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau since December 2024, Ashley previously held the role of Managing Principal at Edgeworth Economics from April 2023 to December 2024 and served as a Director at AlixPartners from August 2021 to March 2023. Earlier in the career, Ashley worked at Analysis Group as a Manager from February 2015 to June 2021, and also held positions as a Summer Associate in 2013 and 2014. Academic experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for economics and econometrics courses and a Lecturer at Analysis Group. Education credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Banking from Peking University.
