Luz Plasencia is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in bilingual news production. Currently serving as a Senior Producer and Bilingual Producer at Consumer Reports since March 2016, Luz develops engaging story ideas for CRTV Español, conducts interviews, writes video reports in both English and Spanish, and collaborates across departments to produce high-quality content. Prior experience includes roles as a Reporter/Anchor and Video Producer at NY1 Noticias, where Luz covered breaking news and produced a daily segment on various topics.
