Ahmed Zaky

Ahmed Zaky, REA, FSE (TÜV) is an experienced engineer specializing in instrumentation and control, with a career spanning various key roles in the energy sector. Currently an Instrumentation and Control Engineer at Contact Energy Ltd, Ahmed has previously worked as a Planning Engineer at AFFCO New Zealand Limited and held significant leadership roles including Lead Electrical Engineer at PhPC and ICE Projects Engineering Department Head at GUPCO. Notable contributions include serving as Electrical Construction Lead for BP's West Nile Delta gas development project and overseeing numerous electrical and instrumentation projects during a decade-long tenure at GUPCO. Ahmed began the professional journey as an Operation Shift Engineer at a gas turbine power station following a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power and Machines from Cairo University.
