Shamim Ahmed

Shamim Ahmed has extensive experience in the automotive software industry, currently serving as Group Lead and Head of High Performance Software Platform at Continental since November 2016, focusing on the future of mobility. Previously, Shamim held roles including Software Project Manager for Surround View systems in ADAS at Continental, and Software Program Manager at Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, managing significant budgets and driving change management processes. Earlier roles include Resident Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, overseeing passive safety electronics, and Algorithm Project Manager at Bosch, supervising a team to deliver projects for international divisions. Shamim's career began as a Senior Software Engineer at Robert Bosch India, with responsibilities including crash algorithm development, and as a Consultant Engineer at Delphi Automotive Systems. Shamim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
