David Fourie

David Fourie is an experienced HD mechanic currently employed at Conuma Resources since November 2022. Prior to this role, David worked at Komatsu South Africa Pty Ltd as a Millwright from August 2016 to December 2022, specializing in electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs on various Komatsu machinery. David also owned DSF Solutions from January 2009 to December 2022, overseeing automation projects and providing mechanical and electrical maintenance services. At Anglo American: Kumba Iron Ore - Sishen Mine, David served as a Millwright/Foreman from October 2008 to May 2016, responsible for planning, scheduling, and conducting repairs on diverse equipment. David began a career in the industry with a learnership at Sivos Training Centre, where on-the-job mechanical and electrical training was completed. David holds a National Senior Certificate from Kathu High School and a Skills Programme in Occupational Health and Safety Activities from the Mining Qualifications Authority.
