Lourdes Vázquez

Lourdes Vázquez is a seasoned multimedia storyteller currently employed at Cook Children's Health Care System since November 2024. With a diverse background in journalism, Vázquez has held various positions including MMJ/News of Day Reporter at Spectrum from May 2022 to October 2024, and Content Editor at WFAA from November 2019 to April 2022. In earlier roles, Vázquez contributed as a Digital Content Producer for Univision Communications Inc. and as a multimedia reporter and correspondent with notable organizations including Al Dia Dallas and Mundo Hispanico. Vázquez has a strong foundation in community storytelling and media relations, bolstered by formal education with a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in News Writing and Reporting from Columbia College Chicago.
