Eileen Leman

Eileen Leman is an associate at Cooley LLP, where since April 2021, Eileen has counseled and advised companies in the emerging companies, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods sectors, specializing in employment issues related to corporate transactions. Prior to this role, Eileen worked as a researcher for the Biden-Harris Transition Team, conducting in-depth analyses of candidates for administrative appointments. Eileen's previous experience includes advising on labor and employment matters during mergers and acquisitions at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, serving as an asylum clerk for the Legal Resources Centre in Cape Town, and completing various internships, including with the California Department of Justice and U.S. House of Representatives. Eileen holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder.
