Farid Ahmadli

Farid Ahmadli serves as the Head of Protocol Planning and Operations Division for COP29 Azerbaijan, overseeing venue protocol planning and operational aspects since July 2024. Previously, Farid held the role of Senior Manager for Visitor Services at Expo 2020 Dubai, focusing on visitor services and event operations for the Mobility Pavilion. Past experience includes managing site operations for Sela and serving as Venue General Manager for the European Youth Olympic Festival. At the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Farid was responsible for Front Of House operations, and earlier roles included Spectator Services Venue Manager for the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games and Event Services Deputy Venue Manager for the Baku 2015 European Games Operation Committee. Farid's extensive background involves ensuring effective event planning, operational readiness, and stakeholder engagement across various high-profile events.
