Sian Schell is a skilled designer with a focus on textiles and show design, currently working at Coperni Paris since April 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Design Assistant Artisanal at Maison Margiela from October 2023 to April 2024, and a freelance position as Assistant Atelier specializing in embroidery for Balenciaga's Spring/Summer 2020 collection in September 2019. Sian also contributed as a Design Assistant Haute Couture at Iris van Herpen for a six-month period in 2018. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp (2020-2023), Fashion Design and Pattern Making at the Design Academy of Fashion (2018-2019), and a BA in Visual Communication from the AAA School of Advertising (2016-2018). Currently, Sian is furthering language studies in French at the University of Cape Town.
