Taylor Makela

Taylor Makela is an experienced Information Technology professional with a focus on management and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Information Technology Manager at Copper Country Mental Health since April 2020, Taylor previously held the position of IT Manager at Baraga County Memorial Hospital from April 2008 to April 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing IT infrastructure and information systems across multiple facilities. Prior experience includes working as an IT Analyst at Next Century Software and Hardware, providing technical support and custom solutions to local businesses, and serving as a Support Analyst for Optio Software, where Taylor maintained healthcare systems. Taylor holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Washington State University.
