Cameron Cason

Cameron Cason currently serves as the Research and Development Team Lead and Research and Development Chemist at Copperstate Farms since October 2021. Prior to this role, Cameron was the Director of Manufacturing at Wellcana from July 2019 to September 2021 and briefly worked as the Production Laboratory Manager at GB Sciences, Inc. in 2019. Cameron’s early experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana State University from August 2017 to July 2019, where efforts focused on extracting and characterizing bioactive compounds from pecan shells, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from June 2016 to May 2017, conducting risk assessments on environmental pathogens. Cameron holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, both earned from Louisiana State University.
