Cecile Aitchison

Cecile Aitchison currently serves as Vice President of Advancement at Core Education, a position held since November 2024. Previous roles include Chief Development Officer at Alternatives For Girls from February 2022 to November 2024, and Vice President of Development at Gleaners Community Food Bank from December 2018 to January 2022. At the University of New Hampshire, Aitchison was Assistant Vice President of Development and External Engagement, achieving a significant 10% surplus in a capital campaign goal and engaging alumni effectively. As Vice President of Advancement at the University of Southern Maine, Aitchison oversaw a budget reduction while achieving a 30% revenue increase and securing substantial donations. Aitchison's experience also includes serving as Associate Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where a $48 million capital campaign was successfully led, and Vice President for Fund Development at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit. Aitchison holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Wayne State University and additional education from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
