Dr Kieran Nolan

External Examiner, MA And Msc In User Experience & Service Design at Cork Institute of Technology

Dr Kieran Nolan is an accomplished academic and creative professional with extensive experience in the fields of creative media and digital arts. Since February 2007, Dr Nolan has served as Co-Director of the Creative Arts Research Centre at Dundalk Institute of Technology, while also being a full-time Lecturer in Creative Media. Dr Nolan has directed various programs, including the BA (Hons) in Communications in Creative Multimedia and the BA in Media Arts and Technologies, and has coordinated courses such as the Springboard Certificate in Game Design. Current roles include Co-President of the History of Games International Conference and a Management Committee Member for the EU COST Action on digital cultures. Dr Nolan's contributions to higher education extend globally through external examination positions at prestigious institutions. Dr Nolan holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin among other advanced degrees in digital media and interactive media.
