Rafael Ferreira Simões

Rafael Ferreira Simões is a skilled software developer currently employed at CornerBriX since December 2024, and previously worked at Codit from June 2023 to December 2024, focusing on Azure development. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Engineer at NTT DATA Europe & LATAM from November 2021 to May 2023 with a specialization in Mulesoft development, and as the CTO and Co-founder of b2Quant from January 2017 to November 2021, a startup dedicated to quantitative image analysis for brain MRI relevant to neurodegenerative condition research. Rafael also participated in the Startup Voucher program as an Entrepreneur with StartUP Portugal from April 2017 to March 2018, and completed internships at Hospital Garcia de Orta and Siemens in 2015 and 2014, respectively. Rafael holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, obtained in 2016.
