Joel Haywood

Joel Haywood is an experienced pastor currently serving as the Young Adults Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Chandler, AZ since December 2023. Previously, Joel held the same position at Mariners Church from July 2022 to November 2023 and worked with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes from September 2018 to September 2022 as the Director of Professional Volleyball Ministry and Campus Representative. Joel began a career in education as an Admissions Counselor at Lutheran High School from June 2017 to June 2018, and also contributed as the Assistant Women's Varsity Basketball Coach at Lutheran High School Parker between November 2015 and March 2018, leading the team to a Metro League Championship and a 3A State Championship. Joel's background includes roles in marketing and public relations, having served as an Onboarding Manager and Marketing Specialist at Evolve Vacation Rental Network, as well as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern at Westerra Credit Union, where significant contributions were made to sponsorship upgrades. Joel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2015.
