Emily Parkhurst

Emily Parkhurst currently serves as Interim President at Cornish College of the Arts, following a two-year tenure as board chair. As Founder and CEO of Formidable Inc., Emily leads a publication that provides high-level women executives with news and actionable insights. Prior to these roles, Emily was VP of Content at 6AM City, and held multiple significant positions at the Puget Sound Business Journal, including Publisher and Market President, where revenue and audience growth were markedly achieved. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Reporter at Sun Media Group, Adjunct Instructor at Central Maine Community College, and various writing and editorial positions. Academic credentials include an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a BM in Music Performance from the University of Southern Maine.
