Aimee Brown is the Director at Coro Northern California. Aimee has also worked with the Women Corporate Board Readiness Program, Miller Center Global Social Benefit Institute at Santa Clara University, Treasury Oversight Committee for the City and County of San Francisco, and National Alumnae Women’s Leadership Council, Trinity College, Hartford, CT. From January 2011 to December 2015, they were with Bay.org (formerly The Bay Institute and the Aquarium of the Bay Foundation) where they served as Board Treasurer, Chair of Finance Committee, and Executive Committee member. During their time with bay.org, they participated in the integration of for-profit Aquarium and non-profit TBI business into one non-profit organization. This also included the mergers of Sea Lion Center, the EcoCenter at Herron Head’s Park in Hunter’s Point, and the Bay Model Alliance into bay.org. Furthermore, they established the Finance Committee for the combined organization, lead monthly meetings, oversaw Budget and Audit report to the Board, provided guidance on strategic financial decisions, advised and worked with Controller to renew Letter of Credit and restructure outstanding bond issue.
Aimee Brown has a Master of Management degree in Finance and Public Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from Trinity College-Hartford.
