NVP Tendulkar

NVP Tendulkar brings with him 37 years of diverse experience with multinational corporate viz. Hewlett Packard, Tata Lucint Technologies, Krone Communications and Voltas International Ltd. He has been on the boards of several technology and communications companies including Hewlett Packard India, Aruba India Network, Tata Telecom, Digital Global Soft, etc.

He was responsible for resource mobilization, strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, de-mergers, listing & delisting, investor relationship, significantly large project finance, transfer pricing, management information system, joint venture management, direct & indirect taxation, high impactment very large cross organisational projects, legal & secretarial human resources, initial public offers, taxation and internal controls.

Till recently he was a director of the Hewlett Packard entities in India besides Head of Finance. An alumnus of the 1981 batch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and also a qualified Company Secretary, Tendulkar later completed the “HP Becoming a Business Partner: The CFO Mindset” program from The Wharton School USA.

Tendulkar has been the recipient of several awards including the CFO 100 Roll of Honor (2016 and 2012), the Best Governance Award in 2000 from the Institute of Chartered Finance Analyst and the Special Achievement Award for leading the Best Finance Team in Asia-Pacific Advisory Committee & Japan Region for 2005. He was also the recipient of the Worldwide Best CFO Award for the year 2006 from Hewlett Packard and a nominee for the prestigious IMA Award for CFO of the Year in 2006. He has also led the large CSR and voluntary initiatives of the company with a complement of 50,000 employees currently actively finding foundation called, NISWARTHA one of the education field.
