Trond Debes

Trond Debes is an experienced executive with a strong background in legal, compliance, and human resources. Currently serving as EVP Strategy and General Counsel, as well as EVP HR, Legal & Compliance at Norsk Solar since November 2020, Trond has previously held significant leadership roles at Santander Consumer Bank - Nordics, including Nordic HR, Legal and Communications Director, and Nordic HR, Legal & Compliance Director. Trond has also served as CEO of GE Money Bank AB and managed compliance functions across the Nordics. With a law degree from the University of Bergen, Trond has contributed to various boards, including Heimdal Forvaltning, and has extensive experience in legal and compliance management in the financial sector, particularly with General Electric and Santander.
