Klaas Bijlsma

Klaas Bijlsma is an experienced electrical engineer with a comprehensive background in managing large-scale electrical projects and systems. Currently serving as the Grid Connection Manager at Corre Energy since April 2023, Klaas is also the Owner and Senior Electrical Consultant at Bijlsma Project Management since May 2018. Previous roles include Lead Electrical Engineer for the AWG Electrification Project at Stork, Electrical Manager for the Magnum Power Plant at Vattenfall, and Principal Electrical Engineer at Shell, where responsibilities included overseeing electrical maintenance and integrity. Klaas's extensive experience at NAM BV Assen spanned over two decades in various key positions focused on electrical engineering projects and maintenance, as well as establishing local design practices. Klaas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from NHL University of Applied Sciences, Leeuwarden.
