Gene Zhu

Gene Zhu has a substantial work experience in the field of software engineering. Gene worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Cotiviti from March 2022 to present. Before that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Cotiviti from December 2012 to February 2022. Prior to their tenure at Cotiviti, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at TicketNetwork from June 2007 to December 2012. Their career started as a Software Engineer at IBM in October 1996, and they worked there until June 2007.

Gene Zhu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theory and Applications of Automatic Controls from Tsinghua University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Automation (major) and Applied Mathematics (minor) from Tsinghua University, completing their undergraduate studies from 1984 to 1989. Furthermore, they received a certification as a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile Inc in April 2019.
