Lois Bruu

Lois Bruu serves as the Vice President of Humanitarian & Development at Mastercard since April 2016, focusing on product development for transformative digital services aimed at marginalized communities in Africa and India. Bruu is also a Board Member at Counterpart International, supporting initiatives related to food security, climate security, women's empowerment, and democracy in developing countries. Prior experience includes founding and leading Concero Connect, a social enterprise promoting affordable broadband and financial services, as well as holding senior roles at GT Nexus, DTV Inc., and BelCom, Inc., where significant contributions were made in the fields of cloud-based supply chain solutions and satellite communications in emerging markets. Bruu holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Communications from Boston College and a Master's in Telecommunications from New York University.
