Tanya Azuaje

Tanya Azuaje currently serves as the Governance Program Manager at Counterpart International since September 2023. Previously, Azuaje held the position of Democratic Governance Officer at the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights from October 2022 to September 2023, where responsibilities included analyzing democratic institutional challenges and developing training programs on public integrity and political participation. Azuaje's extensive experience spans various roles in monitoring and promoting minority rights, gender inclusivity, and electoral processes, with significant contributions to international organizations such as The International Foundation for Electoral Systems and the OSCE. Azuaje's academic background includes multiple master's degrees in International/Global Studies and innovation, enhancing expertise in governance and social justice initiatives.
