Héctor Manuel Ramírez

Héctor Manuel Ramírez serves as a California Commission on Disability Access Commissioner for the California Department of General Services and holds multiple leadership roles in Los Angeles County's Department of Mental Health, including Chair for Access for All Underserved Cultural Communities and Chair for Latino Underserved Cultural Communities. Ramírez is affiliated with the National Disability Rights Network as a Board Member and is a member of various advisory committees, including the Office of Health Equity and Governor Gavin Newsom's Behavioral Health Task Force, focusing on improving mental health services. Ramírez has also contributed to the Behavioral Health Stakeholder Advisory Committee and the California Behavioral Health Planning Council. Previous experience includes board membership at Disability Rights California, advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities. Ramírez’s educational background includes studies at Caltech, UCLA, and California State University, Northridge.
