Lenia Abraham-Chapklin

Lenia Abraham-Chapklin, MBA, is a seasoned healthcare administrator specializing in human resources recruitment and retention for public service roles in Rockland County. Currently serving as the Human Resources Recruitment and Retention Coordinator at the County of Rockland since December 2024, Lenia has previously held various HR positions at Jawonio from 2009 to 2024, including HR Generalist, Senior Human Resources Recruiter, and Lead Coordinator of Strategic Integration. With a robust background in managing employee relations and performance management for over 600 employees, Lenia has also contributed to recruitment strategy development and provided administrative support in care management programs. Lenia's experience extends to client communication and sales in the private sector, as well as community engagement through event coordination.
