The Legal Team at the San Diego Public Defender's office is responsible for providing legal representation to clients who cannot afford private counsel. The team consists of Public Defenders, Attorneys, Deputy Public Defenders, and Certified Legal Interns, all working collaboratively to ensure clients receive fair legal assistance, advocate for their rights, and navigate the complexities of the criminal justice system with a focus on accountability, efficiency, and customer service.
