John Carr

John Carr possesses diverse experience in social services and behavioral health. Currently serving as a QA Student Intern in the In-home Supportive Services division of the County of Santa Clara since July 2022, John also holds the position of Social Worker 1 in the Department of Children and Family Services. At Fremont Hospital - Behavioral Health since January 2021, John has functioned as a Clinical Case Manager. Previous roles include Employment Specialist at AbilityPath, where John was an active member of the Culture Club and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, as well as a facilitator and founding member of the Southeast Asian Resource group. Prior experience includes positions at Uplift Family Services, San Jose State University as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, and internships at Educare California. John Carr earned a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from San José State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work.
