Ari Zimmerman

Ari Zimmerman serves as the Senior Director of Global Government Affairs at Coupang since June 2024. Previously, Ari held multiple positions at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck from January 2019 to June 2024, including Policy Director and Defense Practice Lead, Senior Policy Advisor, and Policy Advisor. Prior experience includes working as a Professional Staff Member for the House Committee on Armed Services from April 2017 to January 2019 and as a Military Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2011 to April 2017, alongside earlier roles including Legislative Correspondent and Staff Assistant. Notably, Ari was a volunteer with the Israeli Defense Force through Sar-El Tours & Conferences in summer 2009 and directed the Teen Connect Volunteer Program from September 2005 to May 2006. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy Analysis from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College.
