Vas Ramanujam is a seasoned professional in the insurance and financial sectors, currently serving as the Director of Insurance for South East Asia and Malaysia at Cover Genius since June 2020, where the company is recognized as the fastest-growing InsurTech in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior experience at Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad includes leadership roles in strategic marketing, partnerships, and product management from September 2012 to June 2020. Vas began a career at EY as a Consultant specializing in audits and financial reporting from September 2008 to July 2012, preceded by an internship at Bank Negara Malaysia focused on learning statutory guidelines. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics from Heriot-Watt University and foundational studies at Taylor's College and Maz International School.
