Eugene Diaz

Eugene Diaz, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Debt Management at CPS Energy, overseeing a $6 billion debt portfolio. With a career at CPS Energy that began in 2007, Eugene has held various leadership roles, including Senior Manager of Gas Development & Analysis, where responsibilities included product development, customer proposals, and financial analysis within the Gas Solutions business unit. Eugene also contributed as Interim Manager of FP&A Long Range Planning, coordinating budgeting and strategic planning processes while supervising a team of finance professionals. Additionally, Eugene has experience as a Financial Analyst and FP&A Project Manager, focusing on corporate financial modeling and compliance support. Prior to CPS Energy, Eugene worked at FinSer Corporation as an Assistant Financial Analyst, where tasks included financial modeling and preparing budgets. Eugene holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
