Senior Policy Advisor at CPS

Gemma Rice currently serves as a Senior Policy Advisor and Inclusion and Community Engagement Manager at the Crown Prosecution Service, a position held since May 2018. In this role, Gemma focuses on enhancing public confidence in the Criminal Justice System, with specific attention to issues surrounding hate crime and violence against women and girls. Prior to this, Gemma contributed to Salford City Council from April 2008 to May 2018 in various capacities, including Community Cohesion Coordinator and Early Years Project Manager. Gemma's educational background includes obtaining three A Levels in Biology, Psychology, and English Literature from Eccles College, along with 11 GCSEs from Walkden High School.
