Laurence Imrie

Laurence Imrie is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in prosecution and barrister roles. Since May 2021, Laurence has served as a Senior Crown Advocate and previously as a Senior Crown Prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service. Prior experience includes working as a Barrister at Blackfords LLP from November 2014 to May 2021 and as an Associate Partner at David Rubie Mitchell & Co from August 2006 to November 2014. Laurence's legal career began as a Legal Assistant at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust from August 2005 to August 2006, following a position as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) from August 2003 to August 2004. Laurence holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Warwick, completed from 2000 to 2003.
