Derek Egnatowski

Derek Egnatowski currently serves as the Director of Operations at Cranbrook Educational Community, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Egnatowski was the Director of Campus Operations at Saint Ignatius High School from January 2021 to March 2024. Egnatowski's experience includes a role as Superintendent for KONE in Northeast Ohio, focusing on service and maintenance, and multiple positions at various Hilton properties, culminating as Director of Property Operations in Cleveland and Dallas, where responsibilities included managing engineering operations, overseeing capital improvements, and budgeting. Egnatowski began a career in facilities management with a foundational role at Hilton Orlando Convention Center, participating in start-up operations. Egnatowski's career commenced with a position as an Analyst and Asset Planner at DTE Energy. Egnatowski holds a Bachelor of Architecture in Facilities Planning and Management from Lawrence Technological University, earned between 2004 and 2009.
