Mark A. Kirby

Mark A. Kirby is a seasoned professional in the corrections field, currently semi-retired and serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Creative Corrections, LLC since January 2018. In this role, Mark assesses the compliance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention operations with established detention standards. Prior to this, Mark held various leadership positions at the Federal Bureau of Prisons from September 1989 to May 2017, culminating as Warden of the Federal Correctional Institution in Fairton, New Jersey, where responsibilities included overseeing a diverse staff and a significant inmate population. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from the State University of New York Cortland and an Associate's degree in the same field from North Country Community College.
