Geert Goossens

Geert Goossens currently serves as the Group Chief Compliance & Sustainability and the Group Chief Compliance Officer at Credendo, a position held since December 2016. Prior to this role, Geert worked as a Compliance Officer at CREDENDO SHORT-TERM NON-EU RISKS from December 2012 to November 2016 and held various compliance and legal positions at Centea from September 2008 to November 2012, including Compliance Officer, Company Lawyer, and Head Compliance. Geert began a legal career at Centea NV focusing on legal and tax advice from January 2001 to August 2008 and previously worked in credit and legal advisory roles at HSA Spaarkrediet and Fortis Commercial Finance. Geert holds multiple degrees, including a Master in Law from KU Leuven, a Master in Tax Law, and a Master in Business Law from the University of Antwerp, complemented by a participation certificate from Vlerick Business School in 2022.
