Nathan Ricketts

Nathan Ricketts is an experienced security professional currently serving as a Staff Security Engineer - GRC at Credit Karma since October 2024. Prior to this role, Nathan held positions as a Staff Risk Operations Engineer and Staff Security Compliance Engineer at Carta from January 2022 to October 2024. Notably, Nathan spent nearly six years at KPMG US, where leadership roles included Director and Manager in Cloud Security and Assurance, as well as Senior Associate in Emerging Technology Risk Services. Nathan's early career includes significant experience at CrossCountry Consulting as a Senior Consultant and at the Auditor-General of South Africa as an Assistant Manager in Information Systems Auditing. Nathan began a career in IT Advisory at KPMG South Africa, progressing to Supervisor while working with a diverse range of clients. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Informatics: Information Systems from the University of Pretoria, completed in 2011.
