Jim Oliva

Jim Oliva is an experienced financial professional with a comprehensive background in credit union management and regulatory examination. Since May 2011, Jim has served as a National Examiner at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), conducting regulatory examinations and financial analyses for corporate and consumer credit unions with assets exceeding $10 billion. Prior to this role, Jim was the President/CEO of Park Community Federal Credit Union, overseeing a full-service financial institution with $420 million in assets and 16 branch locations. Jim also held the position of Credit Union Manager at Brown & Williamson Tobacco, where responsibilities included leadership of B&W Federal Credit Union, and served as CEO at Rural Cooperatives Credit Union, catering to the financial needs of electric cooperative employees in Kentucky and Ohio. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1983 and completed the NCUA Management Development Program in September 2015.
