Mary Thor

Mary Thor has over two decades of experience in information technology and risk management roles, currently serving as the Acting Director of the Critical Infrastructure Division at the National Credit Union Administration since June 2024. With a tenure at NCUA starting in August 2010, Mary has held significant positions including Systems Division Director and Risk Management Officer, overseeing agency data management and leading projects such as the Late-Filer civil money penalty program. Prior experience includes roles as an IT Security Specialist and IT Program Management Director at NCUA, Information Technology Portfolio Manager at Northrop Grumman, and Principal Business Solutions Architect at BAE Systems IT. Mary's career began with the US Navy as an Information Assurance Manager and includes early technical management roles at SOCACOM. Academic qualifications include a Chief Information Officer program from the National Defense University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Strayer University.
