Mason Whittington

Mason Whittington is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Reservoir Engineer III at Crescent Energy since July 2024, Mason previously held the same title at SilverBow Resources, focusing on the South Texas Eagle Ford from August 2022 to July 2024. Mason's career includes significant roles at Chevron as a Characterize and Define Reservoir Engineer in the Midland Basin and at Noble Energy, where involvement spanned various engineering responsibilities across Delaware Basin and Gulf of Mexico regions. Mason began a professional journey with internships at companies such as Pioneer Natural Resources, Talisman Energy, and Anadarko Petroleum, demonstrating a solid foundation in petroleum engineering. Mason earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2017.
