Rui Silva

Rui Silva is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, engineering, and user experience design, currently serving as a Service Project Manager and Principal Engineer at Critical Software since April 2019. Rui contributed significantly to the Apache Flex project as an initial committer and served in various roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., including as Vice President, overseeing the development of foreign exchange applications. Prior experience includes leadership roles in user experience and R&D at ALERT Life Sciences Computing, as well as a diverse background in web development and design from earlier positions at MNI and Lineatura. Rui holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidade do Minho and a Master of Science in Cognitive Psychology and Psycholinguistics from the same institution, along with technical proficiency in software development design patterns from Universidade do Porto.
