K. Krasnow Waterman

K. Krasnow Waterman is a Director at Cross River. K. was previously an Entrepreneur In Residence & Lecturer at the University of Arizona from January 2017 to December 2019, responsible for mentoring teams of students building companies and for teaching a capstone course on entrepreneurship at Eller College of Management, McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship. From January 2014 to December 2014, they were an Advisor for the Legislative Data Research initiative at The National Archives, UK, advising on the conversion of legislation into processable big data which can be analyzed for humanities, legal, and other research. From January 2014 to December 2015, they were Managing Director, Enterprise Financial Crime Prevention at TIAA-CREF, responsible for transformation of the Counter-Fraud, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and Sanctions programs of ~$1 Trillion (AUM) enterprise. K. has also been an Advisory Board Member for Prevoty from January 2013 to December 2014 and Advisory Board Member & (Interim VP Ops) for Tengah from January 2013 to December 2014.

Waterman began their educational career at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained their BA. K. then went on to obtain their JD from Cardozo School of Law. After working for a few years, they decided to return to school and obtained their Masters in Management of Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. K. is also a Sloan Fellow.
