Lisa Schiff

Lisa Schiff serves as the Associate Director at the California Digital Library within the UC Office of the President since June 2018, contributing significant expertise in digital preservation and access. Additionally, Lisa holds several roles including Board Member at Crossref and Advisory Board Member for the Directory of Open Access Journals since 2019. A co-chair for the Digital Library Federation Committee on Equity and Inclusion since March 2021, Lisa also participates as a member of the Information Creation & Curation Committee with the National Information Standards Organization since January 2023. Past experiences include serving as the Technical Lead for Publishing at the California Digital Library from 2005 to 2018 and various editorial and board roles in scholarly communication. Lisa earned a PhD and MLIS in Library and Information Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, alongside an AB in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College.
